I can’t believe it’s already been a whole year since we met!!! I still vividly remember the day we debuted, exactly one year ago.
Honestly, every time a debut teaser was released, and every time we had a stage, I would spend every night looking through all of your reactions. I remember every single kind word you wrote to me back then… I even took screenshots of them!
Your Weverse posts, comments, and everything you leave for me are like my vitamins. 🦋
(Although, honestly, your very existence is already a vitamin to me. 🥹)
This past year has been a time of making my dreams come true, but also a time when I was able to grow and blossom as an artist. I constantly disappointed myself, but I always tried to grow, overcome it, and become better.
And throughout all of that, my goal was always “for Lockey,” and my driving force was always “Lockey.”
My first reason is simple: I wanted to become better and better so that I could show Lockey an even more amazing performance, and become an artist you could be even more, more, more, MORE proud of! 🥹❤️
I promise I’ll achieve that goal someday. I really worked so hard and practiced nonstop during our break!
The second reason you are my driving force is because of you, my precious Lockeys, who were always there to comfort and encourage me throughout those moments.
Whether I was practicing, walking somewhere, or even just hanging out with a friend, I would always check your Weverse fan letters, comments, posts, and all the messages of support you left for me. 🥹
And I’ve actually cried while reading your fan letters, too. 8ㅅ8 💧
And also! The cheers I heard from Lockey during our “Don’t Touch” promotions…
(Your cheers are seriously REAL. They were so loud I could hear them right through my in-ear monitors! 🥹❤️)
Even the cake Lockey gave us on our last MUSIC BANK is something we, the “New Number” members, still talk about to this day. ㆅ🥹❤️
Whenever I think about all the Lockeys I met and all of you who supported us from far away, I realize that you’ve always been there whenever I needed strength.
I think that’s what you mean to me.
Until the very end, I’ll do my best to make my Lockeys happy and give you so many more reasons to smile!!!
