오늘 전하고 싶은 이야기가 있어서 이렇게 편지를 쓰게 되었어요.
10대 시절부터 지금까지 오랜 시간을 함께했던 JYP를 떠나 이제는 새로운 곳에서 또 다른 시작을 해보려고 합니다.
익숙한 곳을 떠나는 게 두렵기도 했지만 저를 믿어준 멤버들과 원스가 있어 용기를 낼 수 있었습니다.
말로는 다 표현하지 못할 만큼 고마운 우리 멤버들과 원스. 그리고 저를 성장하게 해주신 JYP 식구들께 감사드립니다.
원스에게 꼭 이야기하고 싶은 한 가지는 보금자리를 옮겨 새로운 도전을 시작하게 되었지만, 제 안의 가장 큰 중심인 트와이스는 지금처럼 변함없이 지켜갈 거고 트와이스의 멤버로서 원스 앞에 서는 일은 언제나 첫 번째일 거예요.
사랑해 주셨던 트와이스의 정연으로서의 발걸음도, 앞으로 만나게 될 유정연의 새로운 도전도 모두 진심을 담아 한 걸음씩 준비해 나가겠습니다.
그동안 저를 믿어주시고 항상 곁을 지켜주셔서 진심으로 감사드립니다.
앞으로도 우리 함께 만들어 갈 시간이 아주 많으니 소중한 시간들을 더 예쁘게 채워갈 수 있도록 많이 노력하겠습니다.

Hello, this is Jeongyeon.
After giving a lot of thought to how to express my feelings, I am sharing this letter with you all.
JYP has been my second home since my teenage years; a place where I’ve spent so much time and created so many cherished memories.
I am now preparing to start a new chapter in a new place.
Leaving a place that feels so familiar to me was daunting at first, but I was able to find the courage thanks to my members and our ONCE who have always believed in me.
I am deeply grateful to my members and ONCE; words cannot fully express my gratitude. I am also very grateful to the JYP family who helped me grow into the person I am today.
The one thing I truly want to tell ONCE is that even though I am moving on to a new chapter to take on new challenges, TWICE, the center of my life, will remain unchanged, just as it is now. Standing before ONCE as a member of TWICE will always be my very first priority.
I will prepare step by step with all my heart—both for my journey as TWICE’s Jeongyeon, whom you have loved so much, and for the new challenges ahead as Yu Jeongyeon.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me and always staying by my side. Since we still have so much time ahead of us to create new memories, I will work hard to fill those moments even more beautifully with ONCE.
